Birchwood Shopping Centre, Warrington

Work on the existing shopping centre comprises the redevelopment and extension to the south end of the mall to create approximately 47,000ft² of new retail space. The mall is to be opened up and refurbished with new feature low energy lighting systems. Work commenced on the £3.7m project by Spectrum Investment Management and Redefine International commenced in October 2011 and are due for completion, over 5 phases, early in 2013.

REDS appointment is for the enhanced performance design of all the landlord’s services, including feature mall lighting, the coordination of all on-site utility extensions and modifications and overall detailed design and construction phase monitoring.

P are currently being developed to refurbish the mall throughout the shopping centre, also for completion early in 2013.
