Howard Town Mill, Glossop

This redevelopment, refurbishment and extension of a 150 year old mill on the outskirts of Glossop town centre comprises the creation of 55 apartments, 34,000ft² of retail/leisure units, a basement car park, a 62 bed Travelodge and a new build Simply Foods for M & S. Construction commenced on the £7m development by RED Partnerships and funded by Peveril Securities, commenced in September 2011 and is due for completion mid 2012.

REDS appointment with Peveril Securities is for the outline design of the mechanical and electrical services, detailed Part L compliance advice and certification, the coordination of all on-site utility extensions and modifications and overall construction phase monitoring.
